There are two different data bases in the PC software. The first one is a location data base, where you can set up different locations that you visit regularly for data acquisition (e.g. traps).

The second data base is an animal data base, where all information that you collect during your trips is stored.

You can set up your own lists made up of different animal species (popular names and scientific names) making it very easy to create patterns of distribution during your field trips.

Additionally, you can gather a lot of information like gender, weight, size etc. for each animal you log. There are more than 40 fields in the data base that you can adapt to your own needs (e.g. size and weight of an animal). If you connect a GPS antenna to your handheld you can combine your animal data with land maps. After loading your results on the PC, the software will show you the different locations anywhere around the world where you have collected your data.
