BIOBSERVE - Outdoor Explorer features

The Outdoor Explorer
A data recorder for behavioral biologists working in the field.
Use this event recorder to record the animal's position along with behavioral data on a handheld device!

Imagine you are outside and want to collect as much data as you can to determine an animal's behavior. On your sheet of paper you note:
- location of the animal
- behavior
- weather conditions
- temperature
- predator activity
- spatial distribution

To arrange this in a formalized table it would take you many hours!

It is precisely for this reason that we have developed the Outdoor Explorer.
The Outdoor Explorer facilitates the recording and analyzing of data enourmeously.

The Outdoor Explorer software consists of two modules.
One software module is running on an ordinary MS-Windows^© PC.
With this software you can create the different configurations (maps, behaviors, preferences) that you may want to use in your experiments. After these configurations have been created, you can then upload them to your PDA.
