The Elevated Plus Maze experiment is an anxiety model to assess different types of emotional states in the animal.
With the Viewer tracking software it is very easy to set up and perform plus maze experiments including a real time data analysis with group statistics.

Why is three-point-tracking important for the Plus Maze? Because you can decide how you want to measure arm entries. You can define which point of the animal (nose, conter, tail) is the reference point for an arm entry event.

Only the nose of the animal enters the zone.	The center of mass of the animal enters the zone.	The animal enters the zone completely.

Several experiments can be pooled. The software calculates the statistics automatically and provides graphs for all parameters.
The graphs can be modified in several ways and exported in various formats.

The statistics can be exported as a csv file that can be imported into any statistical software for further procession.
